Uptown Mamas
Kailee and Jonathan have recently taken on a new title together - Producers. Their latest project Uptown Mamas: A Benefit for Moms in Need was featured on Broadway World. Kailee is the creator and producer of Uptown Mamas: A Benefit for Moms in Need, a Mother's Day cabaret presented by The Green Room 42, now in its second year. The cabaret featured performances by Sara Jean Ford, Jennafer Newberry, Sara Wordsworth, and more—all New York based artist parents from Broadway, Off-Broadway, National Tours, and the Metropolitan Opera. Grammy Award winner Ian Axel of A Great Big World appeared as the special guest. Uptown Mamas raised over $5000 for Safe Horizon’s Uptown Domestic Violence Shelter, which provides vital resources and a trauma informed environment for families in crisis. While Uptown Mamas was created to support moms in need, it was also about celebrating the resilience and talent of NY artist families—showcasing that even amidst the exhaustion and demands of parenthood, they can still step onto a stage and deliver unforgettably profound performances.
